This began as a personal work project to produce a proof of concept for locally searching (for example, from CD or USB drive) a collection of older, stock photography stored on a network location that was frequently slow and difficult to keyword-search from Windows Explorer.
Copies of the photos – over 21,000 in all – were reduced to thumbnails, and the keywords from the stock photo directories were exported from Adobe Bridge and assembled into XML data files. The search is powered by Javascript and jQuery.
